Most of us struggle with prioritizing our self-care. That's why it's important to have a method to follow and a means of accountability.
I work with people who are experiencing burnout to help them form a system of self-care that they can incorporate into their life with ease.
This personalized system works to reminds them of why, how and when to own their well-being so they have more harmony and balance in their lives.
Have you ever said any of the statements below?
"I don't want to see holiday pictures of people wondering when this will be me...."
"I don't want to keep saying, "yes, I'm okay" while I'm not..."
"I don't want other people to think that I am weak and that I can't take care of my loved ones..."
"I don't want people to think I am selfish when I do selfcare..."
If so, you need to join me for my 1:1 program and start taking baby steps but radical action to a more balanced life as a caregiver.
Today I am a happy healthy caregiver who lives in peace while taking care of her loved ones.
But it wasn't always like this...
There was a time when my husband was a diabetic, on dialysis and in 2003 he had a kidney-pancreas transplant. Not only that, but he had so many surgeries that we lost count...
While taking care of my husband I burnt out. This happened because I didn't take good care of myself. But... I pulled myself out of a mess by taking baby steps and applying techniques that brought ease and peace into my daily life.
In November 2012, I was at the office when I received a call from my husband. He asked me to call my brother. When I called I hung up within 5 seconds: my brother had a stroke while I was talking to him on the phone...
Taking care of my husband was a huge weight on my shoulders. I struggled with unwanted feelings. You guys know what I'm talking about right?
I was searching for a practical and simple system that I could implement in my daily life to revitalize my own energy, be able to breathe, and stop feeling guilty when I did self-care.
I couldn't find it, so I decided to invest in myself and create a step-by-step system to own my well-being while I take care of my loved ones. And I had success. Because of this system, I could prevent another burnout when my brother had a stroke.
"I appreciate you showing up in my life, for investing yourself in me Meriam.
I really appreciate you just being there for me and all of the capacities that you have been. And I want you to know that that deep inside my heart and deep inside my soul, I am so grateful for our paths to cross for you being that part of my life and being present in it, investing time, energy, attention and everything in me.
I just wanted to express it. Thank you!”

Caregiving is hard.
We live in a world where it seems as though it's difficult caring for yourself and caring for your loved ones.
You have a job. You are the driver to medical appointments. The cook. The cleaner. The groceries (wo)man. The feeder. The caregiver.
And all of this keeps pressing and makes you want to hide in the closet or sit down and cry.
From my heart, I want you to feel and know this:
You can learn how to live a balanced life while taking care of your loved ones...
You can learn how and when to breathe so you can stay in your power and harmony while taking care of your loved ones...even if you feel like you are trapped, alone, and there is no way out!
